How much time do you spend editing your audio files before you start your mix? Whatever your answer, double it! Editing is one of the most important (and overlooked) steps in the production process. It’s also my least favourite part of music making! However, that said, I always love mixing tracks that are as close to perfection as the music demands.
In this episode of TechMuze, we discuss the philosophy of editing. What should you fix? What should you leave alone? How can technology make this super important part of the process less tedious?

hey Dezz
Great episode. I am currently using Adobe Audition 3.0 as I used to use good old cool edit pro back in the day. Audition doesn’t seem to have as much capability when it comes to time stretching or quantizing etc but the spectrum editor works great.
Just subscribed to your free course to get me started and I am slowly working my way through your back catalogue of podcasts. Keep them coming.

I fell off the CoolEdit Pro branch as well! Still use Audition for certain things.
